05 · Sharing your booking page

Your booking page has its own web address from the day you set it up. This chapter is about putting that address where your customers already are: your Facebook page, your Instagram profile, your Google listing, and your own website.

None of it needs a developer, and none of it is an integration you have to maintain. Every one of these is the same simple thing underneath, a link to your booking page.

1. Where your link lives

Settings → Website & embed → Your booking page.

You will see the address, a Copy link button, and Open ↗ so you can check it yourself first. The address looks like this, with your own business name in the middle:

https://your-business.happierbiz.app/book

Copy it once and keep it somewhere handy. Everything below is a matter of pasting it in the right box.

Open it yourself first. Tap Open ↗ and walk through a booking the way a customer would, before you put the link anywhere public. It takes two minutes and it is the only way to know what they will actually see.

If you have the Memberships tool on, that same tab has a second address for your join page, ending /memberships.

2. Facebook: the Book Now button

That blue Book Now button you see on other businesses' Facebook pages is not a special integration. It is a standard Facebook action button, and all it does is open a web address. So it works with your booking page straight away.

On your Facebook page, signed in as an admin:

  1. Find the button area under your cover photo. If there is already a button there, open its menu to edit it. If there is not, choose Add a button.
  2. Pick Book now from the list of button types.
  3. Choose the option that points at a website address. Facebook will offer you more than one way to do this.
  4. Paste your booking link and save.

Facebook draws the little icon and the wording itself, so once Book now is the chosen action it looks the same as everybody else's.

⚠️ This is the step people get wrong. Facebook can also give you a Book Now button backed by its own appointment system, or by another booking company. If you pick one of those, your customer books inside Facebook and nothing arrives in HappierBiz. Your calendar stays empty and you will not know why. Make sure the button is pointing at your own web address, then test it.

It can take a few minutes for a new button to show up for everybody, and your page needs to be published rather than in draft.

3. Instagram

Instagram gives you one link in your profile, so this is quick.

Edit profile → Website, then paste your booking link.

If you already use that single link for something else, Instagram also lets you add several links to your profile, and you can put your booking page in a story as a link sticker. Stories only stay up for a day, so pin the good ones to your profile as a highlight if bookings are how people find you.

4. Google Business Profile

This is the one most businesses forget, and it is often the most valuable, because it reaches people who are searching for you rather than scrolling.

In your Google Business Profile, look for Bookings or Add a link, and paste your booking address there. Google shows it as a booking link right on your listing, next to your opening hours and directions.

Google reviews changes before they go live, so give it a day or two.

5. Putting it inside your own website

If you have a website already, you have two choices, and they feel quite different to a customer.

A link or a button takes them away from your site to your booking page. It is the simplest thing that works, and there is nothing to break.

An embed puts the booking flow inside one of your own pages, so it never looks like they left. Settings → Website & embed → Embed on your website gives you the code, and Copy embed code puts it on your clipboard. Paste all of it into a page on your site wherever you want the booking form to appear. It works in the usual website builders, Wix, Squarespace, WordPress and the rest, wherever they let you add an embed or a custom HTML block.

To embed one service or one of your booking pages instead of the whole booking page, open it and choose Embed on your website under its share link. The code opens straight on that service or page. Your memberships page has its own code on the same tab, and each form has one under Share & QR.

The embed grows and shrinks to fit the page

The code is a box for the page, plus one line starting <script that sizes the box to fit what is in it. The box grows when the calendar opens and shrinks when the next step is shorter, so there is no empty space under the page and no second scroll bar inside it. When a customer moves on to the next step, your website scrolls back up to the top of it, below any menu bar fixed to the top of your site.

Inside your website the booking terms open in place, under the box the customer ticks to agree, and View your ticket and Manage your booking open in a new tab, so the customer keeps your website.

  • Code copied before 11 October 2026 is a box of fixed height. Copy it again and paste it over the old code to get the box that fits.
  • Some website builders remove the script line, or allow scripts only on certain plans. There the page shows in a box 760 pixels tall that scrolls inside, as embeds always did.
  • Some builders put pasted code inside a box of their own, with a height you set in the builder, as Wix does. That box keeps the height you give it, so set it there, or use a link or a button instead.

Both are equally good at taking bookings. When a booking, a class pass or a membership is paid online, the payment opens on its own page in the full browser window, then shows the customer their confirmation. Pick the embed if your website already looks the way you want it and you would rather people stayed on it.

6. Using your own address instead

Settings → Website & embed → Use your own domain lets your booking page live at something like book.yourbusiness.com.au, so customers never see our address at all.

This one needs a small change at whoever manages your domain name, and the app gives you the exact record to add and a Check status button that tells you when it has gone through. Everything else on this page works the same way afterwards, just with your own address in place of ours.

This is the one item here that is genuinely optional. Your booking page works perfectly well without it.

7. What people see when you post the link

When you share the address in a post or a message rather than on a button, most apps show a small preview card. Yours carries your business name, your own description of your business, and your picture if you have uploaded one.

The picture and colours come from Settings → Appearance, and the line of description under your name comes from your business tagline in Settings → General. Both are worth two minutes, because that card is the first thing a stranger sees.

8. If something is not working

What you are seeing What it actually is
No Website & embed tab in Settings that tab appears with the Bookings tool. Switch it on under Settings → Modules and it comes back
The Facebook button opens a Facebook form, not my page the button was set up with Facebook's own booking system instead of your web address. Edit the button and choose the option that takes a website address, then test it again
Bookings from Facebook are not reaching my calendar almost always the same cause as the row above. A booking made inside Facebook never reaches us. Tap your own button as a customer would and see where it takes you
Nothing happens, or the page looks wrong, when I tap the link in the Facebook or Instagram app those apps open links in their own built-in browser rather than Safari or Chrome, and it behaves differently. Use the menu in the corner to open it in your normal browser. This is worth testing before you promote the link, especially if you take deposits
The preview card has no picture no image has been uploaded yet. Settings → Appearance
The preview still shows my old name or picture Facebook and the others keep previews for a while after you change them. The link itself is already correct, and the card catches up
"Workspace not available" the address has a typo in the business-name part. Copy it again from Settings → Website & embed rather than typing it
A big empty space around the booking page on my website, or a scroll bar inside it the code was copied before the box sized itself to fit, or the line starting <script was left out or removed by your website builder. Copy the code again from Settings → Website & embed and paste all of it
The link works for me but not for a customer check you copied the public booking address ending /book, and not an address from your admin screens. Anything with /admin in it asks them to sign in

In short

Copy your link from Settings → Website & embed, put it on your Facebook button, your Instagram profile and your Google listing, and test each one by tapping it yourself. That is the whole job, and it is the cheapest way there is to turn people who already know you into bookings.
